When big feelings are hard to put into words, art can help.

Creative, playful art therapy for children, preteens and teens in Victoria and South Cowichan.

A warm, relationship based approach to anxiety, emotional regulation, confidence, ADHD, life transitions and more.

Maybe you’ve noticed…

You know your child best. Something just feels a little harder.

Your child might:

  • Have big emotions that feel difficult to manage

  • Worry or feel anxious more than usual

  • Struggle to explain what’s going on

  • Have a hard time with transitions or changes

  • Be hard on themselves

  • Find friendships or school challenging

  • Have lots going on inside, but not quite have the words for it

If this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

Art therapy doesn’t always have to start with talking.

Some kids talk. Some draw. Some build, move, play or create.

Art therapy gives children another way to express themselves and explore what’s going on.

What actually happens in art therapy?

A session might involve painting, drawing, clay, building with cardboard, creating slime, storytelling, conversation, movement or time outside.

We follow your child’s needs and interests.

Every session is different. Every child has space to be themselves and explore their own way.

Why Art Therapy?

Express

Another way to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences without needing all the words.

Connect

A relationship where your child feels understood and accepted.

Grow

Build skills, confidence and identity through creativity.

Hi, I’m Erin.

I'm an art therapist who believes therapy shouldn't feel like another place where kids have to get things “right.”

My approach is warm, playful, creative and relationship-based. I love helping kids and teens discover ways to express themselves that feel natural to them. Whether that's through art, storytelling, slime making, conversation or time outside.

My goal isn't to change who your child is. It's to help them understand themselves, build skills and feel more confident being themselves.

Most importantly, I speak Pokémon, Minecraft, anime and KPOP. I also know all the latest squishes sold out. You’ll come to find out I know some random animal facts and always have a cordless hot glue gun in my backpack. I’m also prepared to make a friendship bracelet at a moment’s notice.
